Kenneth K. Fisher, MD, is an esteemed anesthesiologist who assumed the role of Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Adventist HealthCare Fort Washington Medical Center in March 2022.
Dr. Fisher spent most of his career serving as an anesthesiologist across the Washington metropolitan area. Prior to joining Fort Washington, he served at Columbia Hospital for Women, Washington Hospital Center and Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Other previous roles include having served as Partner of the Fort Washington Medical Group, where he was chiefly responsible for operations and business development.
In addition, Dr. Fisher has acted as Chief of the Division of Anesthesiology for many years, as well as having served in other leadership roles such as President of the Medical Executive Committee and member of the hospital’s Board of Trustees ⎯all prior to joining the Adventist HealthCare system. Beyond anesthesiology, his expertise includes physician recruitment, client relations, financial oversight and policy and program development.
